Replace colors

One of the most frequent issues we can have in a presentation is colors inconsistencies. This is frequently caused by people using standard colors instead of theme colors, or when we assemble slides from different presentations, with different masters and layouts.

This typical issue can be solved very efficiently using Power-user's Replace colors feature.

• From the Power-user tab in PowerPoint, go to the Format drop-down menu (center left of the ribbon), and click Replace colors. 
• The below window will open:

• In the top part of this window, are listed all the colors that currently exist in your presentation.
  • Select each of the colors to replace.
  • If you select just one color, you can also check Include almost identical colors, and all colors with a very similar color code will be added for you.
• Then define the new color to apply from the middle part of the window. You can click the colored square button to open the color palette, or paste a specific RGB color code instead.
• From the lowest part of the window, select the scope of application for the color replacement: 
  • You can replace colors in text, in shapes fill color, or in shapes outline color.
  • You can also apply for a specific slide range.
• Click OK to validate.

Power-user will go through each shape in your selection (possibly every single shape in your entire presentation) and replace the colors as per your instructions.

Charts
Replace colors also works with charts, allowing you to easily replace colors for series in your charts on all your slides at once. This can be super useful when you have presentations with many charts which are not in your corporate colors.
