What are requests?

Some administrators have privileges to manage Power-user licenses for their organization.

Requests consist of users who have installed Power-user but haven't been assigned a license yet.

This can be because they heard about Power-user from their colleagues, and they installed it without a license from your organization (usually as a trial) because they didn't know the process to get a license, or because they wanted to evaluate the software first.

As an Admin, you can review these users as Requests, and decide if they should be provided with a license or not.

Managing requests

When Requests are enabled, administrators will be able to view these users by clicking "Requests" from the main menu on the left.

By default, requests will show up as "Waiting for approval". This means the requests need your approval before they can be converted into an actual license.

Select one or multiple users in the list, and decide what should be done:

  • Accept the request. A license will be assigned to the given user, and activated automatically. No additional action will be needed from the user.
  • Deny the request. No license will be assigned to the user, and their request will be filtered.
