Transferring a license to a new computer

If you have a Power-user license runnning, you may want to transfer it to a different machine, for instance if you are getting a new computer.

Power-user can be tranferred at no cost and for an unlimited number number of times. To proceed with the transfer:

• Download Power-user and install it on the new machine
• Restart PowerPoint / Excel / Word
• The following popup will prompt you to activate a license

• Provide the same email address that is linked to the license on the 1st machine, confirm it, and hit "Activate".
• If you have reached your device limit (usually maximum 2 devices), a screen will prompt you to choose a device to deactivate. Once you have chosen and validated, the license will be transferred.

If you are not sure of the email address you used on the 1st computer, click the blue "Information" button located at the very left of the ribbon on that machine.

If you experience any difficulty in proceeding to the transfer of your license, you should contact your administrator or contact us with your issue and license information.
