Progress tools are a way to visually indicate the percentage of the presentation that has been presented already. This percentage is automatically calculated and shown on all slide.
You can use either:
- A Progress bar, which is a long thin bar which will progressively expand to the full height or width of your slides as the presentation is moving forward.
- A Progress pie, which is a mini pie chart illustrating the same percentage of progress.
To insert a progress tool:
- Click Stamps and Progress Tools from the Power-user ribbon in PowerPoint.
- A window opens.
- Click the Progress tools tab.
- You should now see the below window:
- Choose between adding a Progress bar, a Progress pie, or removing existing progress tools.
- Customize the position of the progress tool.
- Customize the fill and font colors.
- Click OK to validate.
