Progress tools

Modified on Thu, 22 Sep 2022 at 03:45 PM

Progress tools are a way to visually indicate the percentage of the presentation that has been presented already. This percentage is automatically calculated and shown on all slide.

You can use either:

  • A Progress bar, which is a long thin bar which will progressively expand to the full height or width of your slides as the presentation is moving forward.
  • A Progress pie, which is a mini pie chart illustrating the same percentage of progress.

To insert a progress tool:

  • Click Stamps and Progress Tools from the Power-user ribbon in PowerPoint.
  • A window opens.
  • Click the Progress tools tab.
  • You should now see the below window:

  • Choose between adding a Progress bar, a Progress pie, or removing existing progress tools.
  • Customize the position of the progress tool.
  • Customize the fill and font colors.
  • Click OK to validate.
